![]() Marco's FatherĪlthough he is only briefly mentioned, Marco's father is a kind and understanding man who goes out of his way to talk with and try to understand Marco, his feelings, and perhaps most importantly to the book, his experiences. Marco continues to conjure up even crazier things - up to the point of a grand parade filled with incredible things. For example, Marco replaces the horse with a Zebra in his head. Later, however, Marco starts to conjure up increasingly crazy things. This is exemplified by his trip down Mulberry Street, where he first sees a horse and a wagon.
